Controller (22-037): The position of Controller will manage finance and accounting department activities providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all agency activities that will assist leadership and other stakeholders in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future. Responsible for the agency’s risk management plan and asset management. Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely preparation and dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets, also ensuring regulatory compliance is timely and accurate. Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc; funding service management, which includes weekly funding reports and customer service; quarter and year-end payroll closing including federal and state reports; and check statistic management. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and payroll tax compliance. Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company’s value. Oversee management of housing programs and HUD management company. Acts in the primary role in the ongoing administration of the agency’s retirement plan and completion of 5500 reporting. Holds the role of Safety Officer over seeing activities of the Safety Committee and responsible for facility management and related activities.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA certification preferred. Experience with medical billing including ODMHSAS, Medicaid and other carriers.
