Lauren was raised in the ministry and became passionate about helping people from a young age. When a colleague introduced her to Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma, she fell in love with the organization’s purpose of addressing the mental health crisis that is so prominent in our community and wanted to be involved.

Lauren graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Sociology and is currently the Accounts Payable Manager at Oral Roberts University. Lauren volunteers with her church, a local community theater, and Girl Scouts.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, four beautiful children, and their rambunctious golden doodle. Lauren and her husband love going to hockey and baseball games, and she enjoys reading in her free time.

One of Lauren’s favorite quotes is from Harry Belafonte, “Each and every one of you has the power, the will, and the capacity to make a difference in the world in which you live in,” and she is proud to work with CRS and to make a difference in our community.
