Veterans Day, November 11, is a great time to remind everyone that Tulsa area nonprofits help active duty military, veterans and their families year-round. You can help spread this information by sharing one resource –call 211.

Veterans make up 11.5 percent of Oklahoma’s population. Some veterans return to friends, family, home and work with few problems.  Others struggle with the transition. Nationwide, 22 veterans commit suicide every day. It’s important to seek help if you or your loved one is struggling.

Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma is one of many area nonprofits committed to helping veterans and their families.
